Subsets is a private space to share photos with the people who actually matter. No public profile, no followers, no feed to perform for — just your close friends and the moments worth keeping.
We built it because the big photo apps stopped being about friends a long time ago. Sharing a weekend with six people should not mean posting to six hundred, and it should not mean handing a company your location history and a training set. Subsets is the version of photo sharing we wanted for ourselves: small, private, and boring in all the right ways.
How it works
Memory Lane
A timeline of everything shared. Photos sorted by month, automatically.
Invisible by default
No one can search for you. A connection forms only when both people add each other — and you stay invisible to everyone else.
What we refuse to do
- We don't sell ads, and we don't sell or share your personal data.
- We don't run third-party analytics or collect advertising identifiers.
- We don't keep the location data in your photos. EXIF and GPS metadata is stripped at upload.
- We don't use your photos to train AI models, and our Terms of Service say so in writing.
- We don't publish anything to the open internet. Photos are served only to signed-in friends you have accepted.

Subsets is made by Workwind, Inc., a small company incorporated in Delaware, USA. We are a product team, not an ad network, and we keep the company small on purpose so that the incentives stay simple: the app has to be worth keeping on your phone.

Our promise
Subsets stays small, private, and built for the people in your circle. Everything we collect, and why, is written out in plain language in our Privacy Policy. The rules are in our Terms of Service, and our Child Safety Standards are public. If something is unclear, the Help center has short answers and Support has a human.
